  • Comments Thread For: Jermain Taylor’s Mental Eval Continues, 3rd Case Added

Authorities in Arkansas now have until mid-August to complete a mental evaluation of Jermain Taylor, the former middleweight champion who first got into serious trouble in 2014, added a second incident earlier this year, and now has a third case against him that arose while he was in custody.

The trials that had been scheduled for the first two cases have been canceled for the moment, according to online court records. A hearing has been set for Aug. 24, however. His mental evaluation must be completed by Aug. 17.

Taylor seems to have the same thing. Hes only 36, I dont think he will make it much past 40.

Hate to see that his wife is leaving him. I think very little of what's going on is JT's fault. I'm sure she's stuck by him as long as she can. But its probably for the best she leaves. Probably not real safe to raise a family with him in his current state.

Very likely. I feel tremendously sorry for Jermain and his family. The outlook seems very bleak indeed.
