Here we go with pulling out The Race Card again.... Is actually pretty simple to see why people are complaining, nothing to do with race, finally when we think that the Cold War between 2 of the biggest promoters ( top rank & golden boy) here come another power house promoter that won't do business with the other big promoters..... In other words I'm tired of fights no been made because of ****** promoters acting like divas!!! I don't give a F... What color they are!!!!

Definitely a standard turf war. Haymon could be a white ***ish dude and TR would be going at him hard because he's putting the hurt on their business. Green is the only color that matters.

Yeah Haymon's plan is like spraying weed killer over a field of crops, with only his genetically modified PBC crops surviving. He's killing the market in alot of different ways because his company has the hedge fund money to carry them through the scorched earth policy where everybody else has to earn their money.

However tv time buys, free tickets, overpaying fighters & their opponents are all legal practices. His signing the fighters as an 'Advisor' then controlling them as a promoter is the illegal part. Venue squatting seems like a gray area and more of an issue with the venue's themselves as their private en******.

Ive enjoyed Haymons fights. I just wish him and others would work together. I dont give a turd whos at fault. I just would like to see All sides fight all sides.

Im all for FREE BOXING. Al Haymon will be known as the man who planted the seeds for an eventual universal Boxing commission and union to protect fighters someday. Thats why sleezebag promoters like Arum never want to see that happen

It's definitely a race issue with Haymon. When you question the haters, their reasons are silly. They can barely build a coherent story to justify the hate.

I'll say it on your behalf, because it's as clear as day.

It's really not. I love that Haymon has boxing on channels other than HBO and Showtime even though I get both of those channels. He's trying and somewhat succeeding at making boxing mainstream again. But he has kept top fights from happening and certainly protects his fighters too much sometimes. Managers/advisors should protect their fighters in that they dont sacrifice their health for money and should look out for their best interests. Perhaps its even ok to schedule more fights against styles that your guy can deal with as long as its not a bum. But any promoter who keeps big fights from happening or does too many showcase fights deserves criticism. He even supposedly gets his fighters good paydays and keeps them from being churned up and spit out like a lot of fighters do. I think a lot of people dont liek him because of his association with Floyd and because he's very sneaky. Few people even know what he looks like, they think he's the guy who promotes most of his fights Sam Watson who has the two twin sons who see in the corner of every one of their fighters.

Thank you for keeping it real, whitelightning. There are VERY valid reasons for being skeptical and su****ious of Haymon. He acts entirely in the shadows and doesn't have the decency to face the boxing fans and explain his plan. You think he didn't explain it to the backroom money men who are backing him? You bet he did.

But looking at things from a fan's perspective, I don't trust him.

All claims by his lackeys that people don't like him "because he's black" is race-baiting and an attempt to distract from the real issues. Haymon received a lot of criticism before people even had a clue that he was black. If that's what he is. I couldn't pick the guy out of a police lineup and I suspect most other boxing fans couldn't, either.
