Who on Floyd's resume was a prime p4p quality champion? He has nobody on it as good as Ward. It's full of past-prime and green future titlists. I'd rather they fight at 160 or 168, but two champs fighting at a catch-weight is reasonable.
Golovkin facing Ward ****s on Floyd's whole resume

facing him means nothing. he would have to actually beat him for it to count towards something. and not at 164 either.Comment

Beating Ward would be a much bigger win than any individual win of Mayweather's, but no GGG would still not be shixtting on Mays resume.Comment

This.
Ward is a gold medalist, undefeated champ, and has faced fantastic opponents. If Golovkin fights Ward and wins... I think Golovkin deserves much respect from the doubters/hatersComment

Pacquiao >>> Ward. Doesn't matter which version of Pac it was. Pac is simply the much harder and greater fighter to prepare for, and beat.Comment

Diego Corrales was in his prime, in the top 5 P4P and was a world champion.
So by defintion he was a "Prime P4P wa quality Champion".
Ricky Hatton also fits that defintion.Comment

Floyd nuthugger detected. Beating Ward now would absolutely be a better win than post KTFO Pacquiao. Context definitely matters. Ward is still a monster and honestly I fully expect him to be the favorite.Comment
