If this is true, Wilder's team are bunch of b1tches. Take a ****ing rick and fight someone credible already - unfortunately Fujimoto is not a credible opponent
fujimoto was considered? my god is that pathetic. He beat chauncy welliver & got knocked out by Solomon huamono (who kevin Johnson knocked out). He also got a recent split decision against nobuhiro ishada who was fighting at 160 two years ago. the guy fought james Kirkland, paul Williams, pirog & golovkin...

Glazkov would be the perfect opponent. Almost exact size of Povetkin, fights similar, highly credible, would boost Wilders stock..

Who knows though. I mean some Japanese paper says it's true so it is? Rumors are just that rumors until we see the fight in the ring..

"Negotiations broke down" = he was rejected when the Japanese offered him up as an opponent.

now that I think about it if a rich Japanese promoter offered some ridiculous amount of money to come to Japan I think they would consider it.

He lost to most of them but browne hasn't even fought that level yet for the most part...
Well Walker should have a legitimate stoppage win over Leapai, so him for starters.

Fedosov is closer to Povetkin than Glazkov. That's the fight that should have been made if Wilder and his team wanted to prepare him for what Povetkin would bring.

                    Lucas should fight Briggs.

                    Winner gets Bum Champ Wilder.

Lucas UD Briggs, Lucas KO Wilder

                      OR

Briggs KO Wilder, Lucas UD Briggs

Either way it's doubtful Wilder can tolerate this level of opposition.
