Here's the thing,I dont aprove of the catchweight either,but ggg isn't the one that said it,it was Tom. Abel and ggg have both gone on record saying that they don't want catchweights,and until either of them comes out and asks ward for 164,this is just Tom running his mouth like an idiot. And yes Tom=/=ggg. It's like elerbe saying something,and people taking it as Floyd's direct words.

Tom said 164 and that means no fight unless Ward comes to 164! At the end of the day. it doesn't make a difference if the words came out of Loeffler's mouth or GGG. When Arum said "Manny is scared of needles," "We need an outdoor stadium," it doesn't make a difference that Manny did not make the statements. The fact is, the fight didn't happen, and the blame goes to Pacquiao, just like the blame is now on GGG!

Don't kid yourself, Chavez & Froch bring alot more money to the table and that matters. At the same time, Golovkin would have a speed advantage vs Froch & Chavez. With Ward he's giving up both size & speed - WTF shouldn't he ask for either more money or lower weight, especially since he's the one with a bigger name now.

Golovkin would've merited a 70/30 split, or worse, in both fights, so not sure what your "more money" point is supposed to mean (ie Brook-Khan would put significantly more money into Khan's pocket than Mayweather-Khan would, even if the Mayweather pot ends up being three times the size of the Brook pot [Floyd is likely taking 95/5 on the pot])

If Golovkin is really about that life, set the fight at 168, and then lay the marker on the type of split required for Golovkin to take the fight, against a guy who he gives up size & speed.

If it's 60/40, let it be known and stand by that.

I'll answer that for you, there is none. You only justify a fighter coming down in weight when it benefits your favorite fighter.
