Who should be Deontays next opponent?

Should be Povetkin, considering he is his mandatory. The champ will be back in 2 months for a voluntary defence to get ready for Wlad next year
I think it should be a top ranked WBC contender
this is the WBC top 10.
1 .- Alexander Povetkin (Russia) SILVER
2 .- Anthony Joshua (GB) INTL
3 .- Vyacheslav Glazkov (Ukraine)
4 .- Bermane Stiverne (Haiti/Canada)
5 .- Bryant Jennings (US)
6 .- Lucas Browne (Australia)
7 .- Eric Molina (US)
8 .- Andy Ruiz (Mexico) NABF
9 .- Artur Szpilka (Poland)
10 .- Carlos Takam (Cameroon)
I think either Glakov, Browne ot Spillika would be good fights for the champ, Povetkin wont agree to random testing, Joshua isn't ready and the rest don't interest me.
If he wins that, there should be a Stiverne rematch (where's he hiding).
And then Glazkov to round off his 2016.Comment

He lost to Cunningham as well, but he's still the IBF mandatory for Wlad's belt.Originally posted by artfuL_Quote:

As WBC champion, Wilder has to fight, for his voluntary, a challenger rated in the top 15 by their organization. The answer is it will be none of the above. It will be someone ranked no higher than say 50 or 60 for absolute certain!
Rank 40 is WAY too big a "risk" for someone as "unseasoned" as the "HW champ of the world!" I mean, someone of that title obviously needs a lot ore training and experience to fight guys in the top 40!

He'll fight Povetkin then Wlad. Why tool around with Glazkov. Glazkov won't fight him anyway while he's waiting for Wlad..Comment

It should be Povetkin, he's ready and willing.
It likely won't be Glazkov, since he's probably fighting in Russia in August.
But if Wilder keeps soiling himself at the thought of fighting Povetkin, then he should fight one of these:
Jennings
Browne
Takam
Szpilka
Or maybe as a last resort:
Thompson
Arreola
But it will likely be someone still softer, another one on the same level or weaker than Molina.Comment

He should fight BY Jennings for a tune up before povetkin or can fight povetkin now just to shut the haters up like he did with stiverne.Comment

Oh please, here are the voluntary WBA defenses for the might Sasha Povetkin before he fought Wlad:It should be Povetkin, he's ready and willing.

Cedric Boswell
Marco Huck (A Cruiserweight who almost beat him)
Hasim Rahman
Andrzej Wawrzyk
Molina would hang with any of those stiffs. If Wilder fights Arreola he already has a better voluntary record than Sasha..Comment
