After the fight, a sparring pratner confirmed that they had sent sparring partners home ~2.5 weeks before the fight if I recall correctly. It would seem genuinely odd to me that all these happened and Manny was 100%.
Most likely bobby arum avoiding legal fallout that might be associated with checking no by exaggerating the extent to which Manny was fine, along with the fallout of the public that critcized team Pac's decision to send a hurt Pac into the fight.
What's funny to me is how much I heard about how Pac didn't keep his right hand up enough, didn't throw the jab enough & threw too few punches in general etc and yet many of those same people saw no indication that Pac might be injured.

You are overrating the win. Floyd always had the better talent, always was the better boxer, but never the resume to back it to its fullest degree.
It's like RJJ-Hopkins. Better Prime and FOTD? Clearly RJJ and Manny. But better career longevity? Clearly Bhop and Floyd.Last edited by The Big Dunn; 07-08-2015, 02:33 PM.
