WBA 'regular' welterweight champion Keith 'One Time' Thurman (25-0, 21KOs) is days away from defending his title against Luis Collazo (36-6, 19KOs) on Saturday night from the USF Sundome in Tampa, Florida. The match headlines the ESPN debut of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC).

Thurman makes a four month turnaround after headlining the first ever PBC broadcast, which was carried by NBC on March 7th. That night he won a lopsided twelve round unanimous decision over Robert 'The Ghost' Guerrero at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Thurman stunk it up against Bundu and he is still living that down. He came into the fight saying Burn Money Mayweather! Then left the fight being pelted with fries and beers thrown at him due to a real lackluster fight. He got boo'd out of the arena that night. There's no way he beats a Mayweather and I don't even think he beats a Khan or Porter.

LOL @ you having a picture of Ward of talking about Mayweather and talking about lackluster fights LOL

This is what FIomos do best...tell us how the prime theat(s) to Floyd wouldn't beat Floyd, but Floyd never fights them...

You telling us Floyd would win..thx..you said it, so I guess there is no need to have the fight now...

It seems like he says this before every fight. He's getting fights like this because:

            1. Haymon doesn't feel he's ready yet and

            2. He's content to get paid well for this level of opposition

If he demands better fights he would get them.

That's what it sounds like.... but then all these guys are in his stable in fights that can be made. If they don't even want to fight him when they're all signed together, he's fucked

The guy had one fight (Bundu), where he wasn't obliterating his opponent, and people wanna say he's a bum or overrated or whatever. I thought a couple years ago that he was just a puncher with fast hands so seeing that fight, actually jmpressed me. Bundu is a good tech boxer and he was being outboxed by a Thurman who people try to downplay as just a crude ****er. Floyd threatens to take his opponents head off every fight and all you ever see from him is defence and movement with the occasional potshot and people pay money for it but don't think Thurman is worthy. The ignorance is pretty impressive. Thurman is one of the guys out there who can beat floyd if he is able to execute his plan because of his hand speed, athleticism, good movement, boxing skills and of course his power. Not to mention the guy is clearly a student of the game. Anybody with half a brain who has heard his breakdowns of fighters and styles can see that.

Great post. That's how i feel for the longest time now. It's just ridiculous at this point. The good thing is that he will be gone soon

let's hope we finally get the porter showdown before the end of the year. it'd be great if he fought four times this year: guerrero, collazo, porter and berto
