Nope. You tweet Al -- he's making the calls for Lara, not Lara.

One can make the argument that Angulo is like a poor man's Golovkin. The pressure and power that he brought to the table gave Lara fits. Golovkin is levels above Angulo, his defense is in a different ballpark, and he won't be getting countered as often as Angulo was.

The jab will be a key factor in this fight. Angulo found success with the jab up until he got reckless. Golovkin has an amazing jab, he uses it both as a range finder, and also as a power punch. He was knocking Macklin and Adama around the ring like a pinball with his jab alone!

If this fight happens, Lara is in for a short night. He does stand a chance, albeit a very small one.

Any kind of development on this fight? Lara mentioned that he's instructed his team to start the negotiations with GG's team. It's turning out that he's just lying. He just love mentioning GG's name then fight another cab driver.

Anyone tweeted GG's manager to confirm whether things are moving on or not? This is the age of the internets where info can be accessed in seconds. It's been weeks.

So what has happened to this fight? Lara claimed he instructed his team to start the negotiations. I knew this guy is lying. He just loves to mention Golovkin's name.

You mean his manager loves to mention GGG's name. Lara can't write twitter posts in English, he can't even speak the language.

... meanwhile, Haymon instructed Lara what to do next: "Erislandy Lara Open To Facing Andy Lee For WBO Belt"...

Loeffler said that people will be pleasantly surprised by Ggg's next opponent. He also said that GGG is going to fight in October which is when Lara plans to fight as well.

They could very well be looking to fight Lara.
