Lara is slick but he's no Mayweather or Pernell Whitaker. Some of those body shots from Canelo hurt him, especially in one round, tho he landed more head shots. Golovkin probably batters him over the distance, but a good fight to see.

lara is basically adonis stevenson...lara has a right hook but if u wont use it that is your fault.....i think stevenson has a better defense when he is not punching bc lara just goes into a high guard and scates away...but lara is good at hitting and not being hit..by that i mean when he's throwing his head movement and tactics after he lands are 2nd to almost none..but his stationary defense is very limited and open at times..

haymon let russell step in with lomo even after russell was said not to like the fight..andy lee is not a haymon guy and he was putting quillen on his but on national tv not to long ago...this is not some sick twisted fantasy i wrote..there is evidence that he will bring non pbc guys in who have shots to win..purse bid or voluntary fights..
he'll give GGG what he is worth...i think ggg is getting 1.7 to beat up on willie monroe...would he take 1.7 for lara or would he pull the risk reward trick? haymon makes his money back easy with commercial slots as far as the purse is concerned..now all he has to worry with is his investor and the time slots he's bought

I didn't say the fight wasn't doable. I just don't think Haymon would care to make such an offer.

The only way Haymon benefits from such an arrangement, I think, is if Lara wins or make it a competitive fight. I don't think Golovkin vs Lara is anywhere close to being as competitive as Andy Lee vs Kid Undercard.

Golovkin KO's Lara in 6 rounds or less!

If Haymon feels differently and really wants that fight, he should make an offer.

it wasnt fantasy land when maypac was made the same way..ppl place ego's to the side and fighters stepping up and saying wat they want...if a fighter urges his contractor to do certain things for his highest pay days..to ensure a resigning u can bet it is going to happen...i'm sure GGG's purse on PBC would be close to 2million...lara 1.2-.1.5 range...the exposure would be too much for k2 to turn down...nowhere near a fantasy..just the fans of boxing need to start speaking up..

HBO is not going to let GGG fight off HBO if that fight is being broadcast in the U.S.

1. Lara just received 1million to fight delvin rodriguez lol. What the hell would he ask for to fight GGG? He has no fans, brings no ratings etc...he has the same popularity as willie Monroe.

2. Whoever compared the posssibility of this fight happening to mayweather vs pacquaio is a moron and should be banned.

3. Andy Lee fought on pbc not only because he is with DiBella but because Haymon thought it would be an easy belt for quillin to snatch. It should've been but quillin just sucks.

4. Why do the reporters never ask relevant follow up questions? Has your team been in contact with GGG's promoter? Will hbo allow you on their network? Will Haymon allow you on hbo? Will you fight for standard GGG opponent money?

Even if GGG fought for free Haymon would not allow him to appear on a PBC show.

Haymon is looking to increase his viewing figures by attracting casual sports fans who don't follow boxing closely. He wants to fool these casuals into thinking that if they tune in to PBC (Premier Boxing Champions) they are going to see the best boxers in the world fighting each other.

So the last thing Al wants is an exciting, charismatic, non-PBC world champion headlining one of his shows, putting on a big drama show and KO'ing the house fighter, then disappearing, never to be seen on PBC again.
