So can Lara fight on hbo or what? Because if the fight were to happen, theres no way that ggg is going over to pbc to fight Lara.

Here come the Golovkin fans on why it shouldn't happen. They did the same thing in the Hopkins thread. Everyone is ducking him though.Comment

Golovkin has no date locked in for September; the general understanding is that he's fighting this Fall. To provide enough time for a full 10-week camp and fight on the last day of September would require an announcement of opponent within the next 2 weeks, and there haven't even really been rumors of fighters who are being looked at.
Beyond that, with his last fight having been in June (taking near no damage), it's not like Lara couldn't be physically ready for a September fight either.
try again.Comment

If triple G wants the fight all he has to do is go to HBO and say that's who he wants problem solved with haymon fighter not being allowed on HBO instead though he'll fight his 34th stay busy fight until a big name comes calling in 2016 maybeComment

Golovkin has the relationship with HBO, and K2 would be the promoter of the fight; if K2 can come up with an offer to bring Lara in from the fee that HBO is offerring for the fight, I see no reason why he'd be blocked. (Edwin Rodriguez was signed to Haymon, GoossenTutor had an HBO date and rights fee to put on the fight, Goossen negotiated with Haymon to bring Rodriguez over, and HBO was cool with it.
why would this be any different?Comment

You sure that haymon would let lara cross the pond? Hes not that big of a draw, but hes no edwin rodriguez either,so will haymon really risk one of his name fighters losing on hbo?Golovkin has the relationship with HBO, and K2 would be the promoter of the fight; if K2 can come up with an offer to bring Lara in from the fee that HBO is offerring for the fight, I see no reason why he'd be blocked.
