Yea, they were out to get you.... but holding two titles in a weight class you have no intent of defending them in is pretty bad too

It's been a horrible year for floyd losing to a one armed Pacquiao and coping with it and NOW the WBO declaring Pacquiao as the official winner by taking the belt from floyd and giving it to Pac. LMAO, embarassing year for floyd. I love it. This is karma and certifies Pac won the fight, the floyd fans are hiding now lol.

So why not just pay the sanctioning fee?

if it has no impact on him, why does Ellerbe even care. Honestly, everyone knows Floyd is the lineal 147 lb champ, no matter what the WBO or any other sanctioning body says.
and also, does Ellerbe have to remind us again about how much $$$ Floyd made from his last fight; really low class

What is there to protest? They bent rules to allow you to hold the belts in 2 weight classes at the same time. Then you told the world you were vacating your belts. Then you refused to respond back to them. You ignored all the requirements to hold on to the belt and only speak up after the deadline expired, a deadline that has been highly publicized for over a month. So Ellerbe just shut the hell up already. If Mayweather really cared about the belt then he had ample amount of time to follow the rules and take the proper steps. Or pick up a phone and respond back.

Bahahaha wait so they are just now deciding to say something? Most fighters get money taken right out of the purse and are given 10 days to choose a weight class, and these guys offer him the courtesy to take 2 months to take his time and pay the sanctioning fee (standard practice by champions) and now they want to be upset about it?

At the end of the day, Mayweather is the recognized lineal welterweight champ. He made a lot of money, proved he was great. But he still cannot expect to be able to fight for a belt without adhering to the same rules that every champion adheres to. Plus, will it really matter when you fight Andre Berto or Mayfield (supposedly) which belts you have?

Ellerbe Can't Read Harry Potter Either; You're Not Bigger Than Boxing

Play by the rules, clown. It's all been clearly spelled out. Ellerbe just trying to stay on the payroll, so his comments are nothing more than image control. The problem is their egos are so inflated, they think they play by different rules, they also have a history of not paying their bills, thinking they don't need to, or when it's convenient to them. Phukk Floyd Jr & Co.
