Trainer Peter Fury has warned unified world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko that Tyson Fury will be in the shape of his life when the pair meet in Dusseldorf on October 24.

The 39-year-old Ukrainian (64-3 53KOs) holds the WBO, WBA, IBF and IBO belts and has not lost since 2004, and was last in action in April when beating Bryant Jennings at Madison Square Garden via unanimous decision.

Fury, 26, is the mandatory challenger for Klitschko's WBO belt and with an unbeaten record of 24-0 (18KOs) heading in to the clash, his uncle and trainer Peter dismissed comparisons with previous Klitschko opponent Mariusz Wach and insisted this represents Klitschko's toughest test to date.

You have obviously not watched him fight recently then? He's come on leaps and bounds under Peter Fury. He's the only fighter who realistically has a chance of beating Wlad.

Fury is underrated... he has improved vastly. He actually has skill, unlike Wach for instance.

I'll believe what Peter Fury says about Tyson's conditioning when Tyson's in the ring and doesn't have that nineteen-fifties flabbed out gut sagging over his shorts as usual. Until then, all bets are off.

Fury should have had a couple of fights against some tall fighters to prepare himself first. Hammer and shot Chisora weren't good preparation.

Well Fury is a giant, Haye was smaller and shorter than Wlad, so it wasn't wise to go all out trading punches with some one as powerful, taller, and bigger than you. That's why Haye fought that way, and his style isn't like Mike Tyson where he used his short height to get inside with uppercuts and hooks. Fury is tall af at 6' 9", he's like Kane, Undertaker height lol, he also has really long reach. Wlad will have a significant physical disadvantage here. He had like a 1 inch height disadvantage vs Wach but that's about it.

I think he'll try to box Wlad. People thinking he's just going to go balls to the wall and attack are naive IMO
