Telling you man, GGG gonna have some sick fights lined up for him when he's 40 bro. Lemieux is just the tip of the ice berg.

Lol heh, 2016 is supposed to include Cotto-Canelo winner, so that could be a bigger year for him in terms of opponent quality.

Listening to 'Leave it in the Ring' podcast last night, it sounds like Loeffler's still in negotiations with GB and that's their focus. K2's putting together a financial package to get Lemieux to say yes and is prepared to make Lemieux/Golovkin a ppv card (yuck).

My personal opinion is not to pick fruit before it's ripe. Golovkin beating Lemieux does little for his credibility at this point in time. Give Lemieux 2-3 more televised wins and it'll do a lot more. I hear the gate & tv numbers in Montreal were disappointing, but the N'Dam fight was thrown together on short notice and put on in the summer months which is a bad time for Montreal boxing.

lol, it's pretty bad because of the fact that GGG ain't getting any younger and he's going to be out of his prime years soon. Oscar is just trying to milk David for a little longer and pray perhaps he can catch a GGG aged over night?

Obviously he's concerned with David's chin as he's been iced before and GGG can do it again. At the same time, GGG hasn't been in wars so I think he is a well aging fighter for his style and shouldn't become just old overnight that easily.

... By using Lemieux, ODLH is only buying time for Canelo... or even seeks a way out for Canelo, who is supposed to fight GGG next -- in case he beats Cotto...

LOL @ Oscar. The plan is to build Lemieux up against bums, feed him to Canelo and then make Canelo vs. GGG when GGG ages and starts to show signs of decline.

make it happen then oscar. i think the plan is obviously if canelo beats cotto then have canelo face lemieux at or close to 160 with the winner fighting ggg if hes still unbeaten. It actually is a solid plan that makes a ton of sense. Also its hard to blame gbp for wanting to wait on lemieux ggg cause lemieux has gotten basically no air time. it makes way more sense for gbp to hold a card with lemieux as the headline put him in with someone he can easily knockout then call ggg out after. the fight would be worht way more that way. the way gbp is not they are having so much trouble getting hbo to broadcast fights all they have is canelo matyssee and after his last performance you got to think hbo will give lemeiux a headline card on hbo. well see but i actually completely understand where gbp is coming from on this one. why put him in with ggg when they can put him in with ggg a year from now and make a ton more money. plus if canelo beats cotto they can hold a lemieux canelo fight which would be great for gbp with winner fighting the big drama show himself. Obviously ggg fans and boxing fans in general will not want to hear this and i dont blame them but i actually get it this time. if they did it now ggg would get pretty much the entire purse

at first i was thinking oscar would duck ggg with canelo and lemeiux but when you really break it down and take emotion out of the equation you cant blame gbp for what they are doing. lemeiux earned a headline on hbo where he can showcase himself and gain more fans and obviously canelo cotto is a gigantic fight. ggg is in a bad spot no doubt. ggg should just fight lara knock him out get the fighter people say hes ducking out of the way. i feel sorry for ggg but at end of the day i dont think his management is upset with how things are playing out. they might get a big fight with froch and if not they can just fight bunch fighters that have 0 chance and take most purse
