He's pretty much exhausted his options under TR so going to PBC & getting in the ring with all their top 147lbers seems like a move to make to grab some crash before his career is done. Also it gives Broner a name guy he can beat.

Is Dunkin's power/influence with HBO due to him working with Top Rank, or vice versa?
Because the days of Top Rank being the defacto house promoter for HBO are seemingly done.
If Dunkin's influence at HBO was due to his work with Top Rank, and Top Rank is seeing fewer and fewer dates come his way, why wouldn't Dunkin think about taking his fighters to the guy with an excessive amount of TV dates (who also regularly stacks his fight cards with 10-13 bouts per show)?

Never had much reason to look into the guy, but he seems solid enough and a pretty straightforward and relatively honest arbiter, and it's not like Haymon is oppposed to working with other managers (Luis DeCubas Sr/Jr do a good amount of business with Haymon, as does Contursi and other managers).
So why not? Rios is almost finished with Top Rank, Mikey Garcia is currently in legal limbo, and they have Marcos Maidana working out of the gym (where they've been able to see and kinda experience how business is done with Haymon, good or bad).
No idea how many fighters are with Duncan, let alone who they are, but what's barring him from saying "Thanks for the support, but there's not enough business coming through Top Rank to keep the fighters I'm looking after enough work; we'll look elsewhere"? He's got to fulfill whatever fights owed to Top Rank, but that's it.

This could set up Rios vs Mayweather which floyd has avoided for years. Bam Bam knocks him out cold, mark my words. There is a reason why floyd has avoided the fight so hard. Same with Provodnikov, floyd hid in a hotel bathroom when Provo was present.
