To my dying day, I'll never understand why Thurman is fighting Collazo.

-Thurman needed a fight that lined up with the early July date.
-Thurman's next fight seemed planned for his home region.
-Collazo was willing, able, and available to take the fight.
-Collazo comes into the fight with enough veteran craft to make a fight of it (awkward southpaw, boxer-puncher, never been knocked out or formally stopped [Cassiani stoppage was bull****])
-Thurman got extended to 12 rounds by another southpaw (Guerrero), after being extended by another tricky southpaw (Bundu)

Assuming Collazo still has fight in him, Thurman's not blitzing him in four rounds and Collazo isn't going to turn ***** and just try to spoil the fight.

Outside of Thurman-Berto (where Thurman would've actually blitzed Bert in 4 rounds), name a better fight to make for Thurman on July 11th?
