I would say boxing is very much a game of desire as opposed to talent, once that desire to endure is gone, continuing to fight no matter the guys level of talent is generally a mistake.
True that was the down fall of Mike Tyson

Since he won two world titles and won 5 rounds vs the greatest fighter of this era.

It is just a natural human things, if you achieve your goals there is a natural fall off. Once you achieve what you want out of something in life there is really no going higher in that area.

Very few people have that level of greed to constantly keep striving needing to do more especially in a tough cut throat field. That is why guys like that should be celebrated.

However, really if a guy does their thing and finishes that is nothing to look down on either because that person can actually enjoy their success in a way the greedy person never will.

It is why greed is both a blessing and a curse, it can lead to the most success but if you always need more how can you ever really enjoy what you do have?

He probably didn't watch Maidana fight since the Devon Alexander fight.

floyd won both fights but he didn't look dominating at all, especially in the first one, and trust me, maidana doesn't care about floyd, floyd couldn't mess with chino's head.
