Joshua has been moved just right so far.

Looks like he's not fighting Cornish after all, which is good news, because that would be a waste of time.

If he's fighting Thompson, Whyte, Chisora or Wach next, that's perfect.

Fighters have to earn their name today but no one is expected or obligated to fight them so that they could have any possible way to actually do so. It's happened with Rigo, it's happened with GGG and now it will happen with Joshua. And he certainly will not be the last fighter it will happen to.

What I do is watch and enjoy the fights and ignore the complainers. Eventually what knowledgeable and unbiased fans see will become obvious to all. In the meantime, we will all get to watch a great talent grow and evolve while they ignore him and watch crap instead.
        Well said. Agree 100%

The man is in his 12th fight and people believe the guy already should be facing the best of the best, no breaks. A lot of people on here don't know a hell of a lot about boxing. Not to mention, Joshua only began boxing at what, 18!!!!! I have no damn issue with Joshua takes his steps correctly and not thrown in with the wolves too early.

People keep saying this, but is there not an intermediate level between a past it Johnson (who I think was a good step up) and the 'top' level? Asking him to step up isnt asking him to fight Klitschko.

In fairness it doesn't look like Cornish is on the table which is good. Hopefully Hearn can get him a decent test later this year along with the Dillian Whyte fight. I'd say that was good progression for AJ.

If hes going to continue fighting fighter he will blow out of the water, he should be picking up the Euro Commonwealth and British titles.

            Edit: Fury still has them!

He is just 25 years old and has had only 13 pro fights. Do you have any idea how this business works? If he draws crowds and interest he'll be taken very seriously.

In his 12th fight, (joshua fought Kevin Johnson in his 12th) fought 30-16-2 James Pritchard.

Prichard had 10 ko losses on his record, but he did last 1 round against johnny du plooy so he can't have been so bad.

it'd be a year and 11 fights until Wlad faced Ross Purrity.

What i'm getting at is all the "Hearn needs to stop feeding joshua bums" needs to stop, this is good progression for a heavyweight with less than 15 fights and only pro for 18 months.
When you actually look at Both records... Joshua has actually faced stiffer compition... Joshua up to his 12th fight, opponent win/loses is at 283-127-9.
Looking at Wlad, it's quite pathetic compared to Joshua at 132 wins and 138 loses. Up to his 12th, Klitchkos opposition had more loses than wins. How is that better? How is Joshua not being tested?

I understand but what is being asked is in future fights, even though the man barley had an amateur background (myrical he won the gold medal.) and throw him against the top dogs in the sport. I have no issue with Joshua taking his time, not like Wilder but take is time to perfect his gifts and talent.

Until otherwise, I'll believe it. Joshua's was probably asked and said he wouldn't mind fighting Cornish.

                    He was being sarcastic dude.
No, he wasn't. Ask Earl about his thoughts on Joseph Parker, he'll give you the same shtick

Heavyweights have to be brought up very slowly, there's little tricks that experienced heavyweights can do to a young guy that can really set there career back.

                      Joshua is doing just fine.
