That's a straight up lie and pure BS. Haymon has put on way more PBC shows, yes. But he hasn't had a single fight as good as Matthysee vs Ruslan. Or a single fight that created the excitement and buzz that was created in Canelo's fight. Or a fight that drew the kind of live gate that HBO fights have. Canelo and Cotto alone drew more fans then any PBC card. Nor does it have the Star power of HBO with guys like Canelo, Pacquiao, Cotto, GGG, Kovelev, Klitscho, Crawford, Bradley. PBC has put on maybe 5X more shows then HBO problem is 90% of those fights were hot garbage. I'll take quality over quantity. So far PBC star power is Thurman, Broner, Garcia and Khan. Broner already lost twice and he will be on gate keeper status now. Garcia has seen his star power plummet with bad performances and questionable decisions. Khan has been KO'd and fighting bums ever since Garcia laid him out and just looked terrible against Algeri. And that's really the best PBC has to work with. HBO's lineup is better, their production is 10X better, they are still the gold standard in boxing.

PBC just airs tons of cards most of which are fought in empty arenas with horrific announcers and mickey mouse production crew that can't even give you punch stats after a round or properly show you a replay of a Knockdown. But that crap is better then HBO or Showtime shows? Showtime was crippled in talent when Haymon took all his fighters off showtime and on to PBC. But even when they do a top fight the production quality is still far better then PBC which just comes off as amateurish.

If this is how you feel, then don't watch PBC fights. That way, you will not have to waste your time coming on this message board to defend you hatred of PBC fights.

It's not hatred it's just a fact the quality is not there. Thurman vs Collazo is a joke of fight. Thurman should be at a level where he is not fighting guys like this. Colllazo 6 years ago in his prime wasn't even all that good and he damn sure is not worth now that he's old and just got embarrassed by Khan a year ago in a fight people complained that he wasn't worthy of fighting Khan. He already got a fight he didn't deserve and stunk up the joint last year, he's unranked on every creditable website. And Paulie defending it when he was the number 1 Haymon basher just a few years ago before he signed with him just makes him a hypocrite. He knows damn well why fans have been criticizing PBC it's because of the quality of the matches and the quality of production which has been lackluster. People keep saying well it's free but first off most of their cards are on cable not network so A it is not free. And B crap is crap whether it is free or not. Don't like people criticizing crap then don't put out crap.

It doesn't matter who Al Haymon puts on his PBC cards, the haters will still criticize. Haymon has provided better shows since March of this year than HBO and Showtime have delivered in the past two years.

You can never satisfy someone who doesn't want to be satisfied and that is the best description of the haters on this site.

There has been 1 okay match on PBC and that was the very first one. I was at Broner/Porter and while I wasn't bored I'm sure it was boring as **** on TV. Higher ratings doesn't mean better shows, because most of them have ****** as I've stated. HBO has been putting on a lot of hype fights lately, and that's pathetic. Just look at Canelo and GGG's competition, it's a ****ing joke. But, HBO has still put on much better fights than PBC.

PBC isnt going to be around for long. Haymond has tons of money but hes used outside investors for this project. It shows his level of confidence in it is low. PBC can go bankrupt and he still comes out ahead.

i got bothred when i heard haymon was to shut down ESPN FNF. Paulie might be right, however that was how we got to see prospect reveal and show off thier talent. SUre i wouldnt catch it live everytime but everytime i had a chance to watch it with my father we would chop it up and enjoy some fights. He got pissed when i told him that FNF was over.
