To be honest, and I'm being dead serious, I've been considering turning pro. I'm 26 so thats why I'm hesitant... I don't need it because of money, just out of pure savagery and violent nature. And if I was given the chance, I'd fight my idol. I swear on the bible. I have no fear. But again, it's a sacrificed life of training, eating right... I don't like running. I have extreme raw natural ability, I am positive I can KO Brook/Khan (fighters like that) as I am with no type of training BUT I run the risk of getting caught the wrong way. I have a steel chin though, been hit in baseball games with bats and I can take a solid swing.
I'm sure you are tough. And I know a lot of people come on here and trash fighters like Khan, Broner, etc. But having been in the gym with pros I can tell you these guys are on a whole other level. They have been fighting their whole lives (many since childhood). That creates a conditioning and instinct in the ring that is very hard to master later in life, as we've seen by how few people can pick pro fighting up at a later age and really excel to any degree.
I still remember back in 92. I was a teen. I was at a private gym a friend of mine owned in Vegas. Roy Jones came in that day. I knew very little about him. I met him, shook his hand, and thought in my head "I think I can hang with this dude". Than he got in the ring and began sparring. My jaw dropped! lol. That was a huge wake up call.Comment

I was too nice earlier. I was trying to make the point that you dont need to be an elite athlete if you put the time in and that there is a great deal of potential that goes to waste. Your post makes my favorite fighter GGG look bad just by association so I'm kind of offended at how easy you think it is. The whole I've never done any training thing is what is idiotic. You can technically turn pro in boxing just by passing a a few tests but there is a reason most elite fighters have hundreds of amateur fights. It's a craft that is honed over years. There are guys who get by on raw punching power but to say you think you'd even touch Kell Brook shows a misunderstanding of how fast and technically sound these guys are. Have a few amateur fights and then tell me you think you'd be an amazing pro.Comment
