People have repeatedly said if there are no better fights available and Lara can fight on HBO, make it happen. No one is worried Lara will beat Golovkin or make him look bad. It seems highly unlikely however and that's the whole point, I mean Golovkin hasn't even been able to get Peter Quillin so it seems unlikely Haymon and HBO will come together for Lara of all people.

Peter Quillin doesn't want the fight. Lara does.

I don't know, when people go so far as to say Erislandy Lara isn't as good as Martin Murray in order to discredit the fight and say it shouldn't happen, I wonder what the motive is.

There's nothing wrong with recognizing why it's unlikely, but still, at least try. That's my problem with this, is that they don't even seem to want to try, when Lara's side is asking for it. If they're faking, call their bluff. If network issues prevent it, well, at least you tried.

It's a different situation from Quillin because Quillin is a needed commodity at MW for Haymon, and Quillin doesn't want the fight. Lara says he does, and Haymon doesn't care nearly as much about protecting Erislandy Lara as he does Peter Quillin.

Who is even "hyping" Lara? We're just saying that he's easily the best boxer that Golovkin will have ever faced. It doesn't take something special to be that considering GGG's horrendous resume.

If anything, it's people like you and other GGG fantards trying to downplay Lara lol. So I hope you stick to these criticisms about Lara if the fight happens and GGG wins.
