This was from a year ago when Ward was the bigger name and the bigger tv ratings puller. For one, Ggg is more of a draw than Ward, obviously. If its up to team Ggg to make an offer like Ward asked, Ward is not the A side and hed be very lucky to get 50/50. But if Roc Nation makes an offer to Ggg for 3m+ say, they can pay Ward 10m as far as Ggg is concerned
ring tv.craveonline.com/news/351573-andre-ward-willing-and-able-to-fight-gennady-golovkin
Yet Team GGG felt that Ward had no right to dictate terms
What entitled them to that belief?Comment

So, Froch just got handed the Super-6 (LOL), and poor ol Golovkin simply cannot find a top opponent..... apparently the top fighters are all too scared, despite Golovkin having a plethora of C-class fighters that are surprisingly more than happy to step in with him - and despite several top fighters publicly stating that they are willing to fight him. You're going off in a totally different direction now. You asked a question, I answered it. Very simple.
Froch had the luxury of the Super Six. Unfortunately Golovkin has had no such tournament that guaranteed him top opponents, instead Martinez, Ndam, Cotto, Lemieux, Quillin, etc wouldn't fight him.
Imagine if Froch was in a division where Ward, Dirrell and Kessler all rejected fights with Froch? That's basically what has happened to Golovkin.
Wow, poor Gennady, nobody likes him, how unfair.
Come on man, Golovkin has the exact resume that he wants..... if not, he would dump his undeserved sense of self-entitlement, stop making excuses, and sign a top fight..... simple !
Golovkin requiring this huge payday to fight a threat, is absurd.
Golovkin is a manufactured fighter, they wont take any chances with him.Comment

He just name dropped Froch in a press release yesterday. Every week his promoter is coming out and saying "No word from Hearn" as if he's trying to bully them into the fight through the media.
Froch is entitled to respond.Comment

How is that ownage? We've seen this kind of behavior from Ward before. Passing on Bute, a big money fight, because he felt Bute didn't earn it, instead letting Froch reinvent his career fighting Bute. Ward, refusing to fight Froch in the UK only to later beg him for a fight because he couldn't find any big money fights. And when Ward turned down Golovkin saying Golovkin needs to build his name up first just like he did to Bute. These decisions are exactly why Ward is in the position he's in today - passing on big fights because his inflated self worth. Unfortunately for him, resume and stardom don't always go hand in hand. Sometimes really good fighters aren't viewed as big draws like Rigondeaux while other guys like Chavez Jr are stars just because their father was famous. It's not always fair but thats boxing, it's always been that way. Team Golovkin never once said they wanted the majority of the purse, only a big chunk meaning they want to be paid well for it. Ward however has a tendency to pass on fights, and not even fight at all, just for principle. That's his prerogative of course, just saying it's cost him a bit. They can make this fight, soon, if Ward comes to earth a bit or perhaps if Roc Nation is willing to put up some of the purse, and I believe he will eventually. We all know what it means when there's less money on offer. Abel Sanchez was talking like GGG deserved more of the purse before he got put in his place by Ward's manager.
“If a fight with Gennady could be discussed, the fact is that Andre is on an island with the belief that he can demand terms,” said Sanchez. “That makes it un-makeable and un-workable when he wants the major portion of the money.” - Sanchez
And here's the ownage from Ward's manager....
Apparently, Abel Sanchez is breathing too much of that Big Bear mountain air…Time and time again, this man keeps going on the record and saying things with a complete detachment from reality,” said Dubin, in part.
“For him to say that Andre Ward could not dictate terms in a fight between Andre Ward and Gennady Golovkin and that Gennady Golovkin is a bigger star is pure fantasy…The last I checked, Abel Sanchez is a trainer, not a manager and he’s not calling any shots over there. So that’s just a lot of hot air

Bute's team didn't make statements about Ward not being able to dictate terms. In fact, Bute's team offered to come to Oakland to make the fight happen. They were willing to do anything and everything to make that fight happen. How is that ownage? We've seen this kind of behavior from Ward before. Passing on Bute, a big money fight, because he felt Bute didn't earn it, instead letting Froch reinvent his career fighting Bute. Team Entitled felt that they were the ones who were going to dictate terms to Ward and get a large chunk of the purse.
Damn I just realised Bute's team has more balls than GGG's. Holy shi1t!

How often have we seen tournaments like the Super Six? Rarely ever. It was a great opportunity for everyone involved, no question about it. Without the Super Six, some of those fights never happen. Some of those names probably never become starsSo, Froch just got handed the Super-6 (LOL), and poor ol Golovkin simply cannot find a top opponent..... apparently the top fighters are all too scared, despite Golovkin having a plethora of C-class fighters that are surprisingly more than happy to step in with him - and despite several top fighters publicly stating that they are willing to fight him.
And yes, we know for a fact top names have not been willing to fight Golovkin. This isn't opinion, it's factual. We know Sergio Martinez, Cotto, Canelo, Quillin, N'dam, Lemieux and now it looks like Froch have passed on Golovkin. That's quite the list. It's very unfortunate for Golovkin. Obviously if he got those fights we would not be having this discussion.
Quite possibly the single most ******ed thing I've read on NSB all year, good job!Come on man, Golovkin has the exact resume that he wants..... if not, he would dump his undeserved sense of self-entitlement, stop making excuses, and sign a top fight..... simple !Comment

Only if you happen to be a manufactured fighter, with an over-inflated sense of self-entitlement.
Stop talking shht.
Many fighters left their ego and self-entitlement at the door to sign a big fight and further their career through ACHIEVEMENT.
I guess it comes down to confidence and self-belief.
When Golden Boy Promotions flatly stated that Erislandy Lara was NOT a draw, had a difficult style, and would not be considered as Canelos next opponent..... Canelo said "GTFOH! Sign that fight, or fcuk off..... Lara WILL be my next opponent".
Canelo was an established PPV star at that point in time, and he did not make silly financial excuses..... like you are.
Stop listening to, and then repeating, bullshht.
Golovkin has the exact resume that he wants..... if not, he would change it.Comment

Ok but too big, too strong sounds like fighting talk. How about just tell Loeffler no interest to close that chapter. Or pick one of Dirks excuses, even thatd be better.Comment
