That's not a bad idea or a bad fight, would be surprise if Mundine goes for that fight even in Australia doe.

With all due respect, Mundine has as much of getting a fight with Mayweather as any of the writers on this site lol.

Dude was having Clottey flashbacks somethin' awful.

Stick to fighting old shot-to-shit Americans if you want to pretend to be a champion for your Aussie fanbase, Anthony.

This guy thinks he is so much better than he is. What did he ever do to be in line for a Mayweather fight. Mayweather would really look bad if he beat up this old nobody. Mundine recently got the hell beat out him by Clottey so Clottey should get the fight before Mundine. At 154 Lara is miles ahead of Mundine and Mundine would probably be about a 20 to 1 underdog if he fought Lara.

There is some VERY important information missing from this thread...

More dirty tricks from Al Haymon.

              https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sp...out-talks-off/

But Mundine's promoter and adviser Brian Armatruda said the terms of the contract changed last week.

He said top US boxing manager Al Haymon, considered the most powerful man in the sport, wanted options on Mundine "win or lose" and that was something they could not accept.

"We only learnt about this in the last week and it's a shame Anthony has wasted the last two months when we could have been looking for a different opponent," Armatruda said.

"They clearly see Anthony as a dangerous opponent for Trout and are trying to protect their interest.

"Al Haymon has hundreds of fighters and Anthony does not need to be tied to a deal where he does not know who he will fight next, where he will fight and for how much money.

"A desperate fighter might take that but Anthony is not a desperate fighter. He is the biggest-selling pay-per-view boxer in Australia, the WBC Silver champion and someone who is looking to take on the top fighters in the junior-middleweight division."

Mundine holding to that WBC silver belt knowing , Floyd will soon give up those belts at 154, Why not Mundine vs Lara?
