Is there one Gennedy Golovkin opponent...

That at the time of fight u could honestly put in a top 50 p4p list?

I was thinking about taking it to top 100 but that's too extreme and would force me to really dig in and think.

    Anyone?

Everyone is saying murray but I read he got outboxed by Sturm so I don't really think murray was any good. Martinez was out boxing him until he got caught

Before the Super Six, is there any opponent on Ward's resume who you would put on the top 100 P4P? Shelby Pudwill or Poo Bear Buchanan perhaps?

From the people in his ranking you pick one for him , GGG is the WBA world champion and WBC interim champion

Cotto /Cannelo fighting for the WBC world title so don't pick him
Eamonn O’Kane/Tureano Johnson fight for the IBF eliminator so you pick him
Billy Joe Saunders/Andy Lee fighting for the WBO title so his out

Do we only rate pure boxing now? It's a fight, Murray beat Martinez, even 72% the Argentines scored it to Murray. He got a draw against Sturm in Germany.

who keeps a top 50 pound for pound list? I don't and I'll bet you don't. GGG fights the best opponents who dare to fight him. He tried to get fights with Martinez, Cotto, Kid Chocolate, Jacobs and other good middleweights but they all refused to fight him. If they had fought him I think the would have knocked them all out. You shouldn't trash GGG because he is ready and wanting to fight the best middleweights in the world. Blame the top middleweights who absolutely refuse to fight him. GGG is ranked as the number 1 middleweight in the world by Boxing Scene, ESPN, Boxrec and almost everyone else who ranks fighters. That's because he is the best middleweight in the world. If you don't thing he is the best middleweight in the world then please name the middleweight you think can beat him.

Sturm didn't outbox him. It was fairly close, most people believe Murray won. Getting a draw against Sturm in Germany basically means you won. And Martinez wasn't outboxing anyone, Murray gave that fight away. The minute he decided to let his hands go, the entire fight turned in his favor. He just decided he was going to shell up for most of the fight and by default Martinez was winning those rounds. Still many believe he won that fight as well. Personally I scored it for Martinez even though I thought that Murrray was the better fighter that night (chalk that one up to a missed KD and the flaws of rbr scoring).

Its too bad so many guys haven't wanted to fight him. Sergio Martinez, Cotto, Canelo, Chavez Jr, Froch, N'dam, Lemieux, Quillin. Can only fight those willing.
