Also Manny's last TKO was against a drained Cotto at CW in 2009. Most likely the fight would be at 154 or CW of 156/157.
I think 152 would be "fair"

So, so, soooo many times we pick a big fighter coming down in weight from another weight class over the smaller fighter who's in his optimal weight, only to discredit the smaller fighter winning the fight after the fact. We say things like "Even a weight drained blah blah blah would win", then discredit when that does not happen. We always underestimate the importance of training to make weight vs training to fight. In this case, Golovkin will train to make weight, ONLY, and not train to fight. He will just train to get down to 150lbs, which would damn near kill a man of his size/height/frame. Pacquiao by late stoppage or similar Margarito style beat down UD. GGG will be exhausted, slow, easy to hit and badly drained/weak. 10lbs is way too much, 154 is more doable, but still a risky drop despite GGG saying he can make it.

Manny doesn't have the speed and reflexes he showed in 2008-2011 anymore and Golovkin could still end the fight with one punch probably but he'd be dead before 4 rounds if he can breathe.

GGG by brutal knockout at any weight. Sorry Manny, don't think Margarito at 150 is adequate preparation for this ass beating.

The same way Dawson vs Ward looked.

The drained fighter would get annihilated.

GGG at 150? The guy is a muscular MW who rehydrates very well. You're telling him to love possibly upwards of 10lb of muscle to make 150...that's ridiculous. I won't even entertain the idea of a fight like this at 150lbs.

You're telling me the difference between 150lb and 160lb middleweight is water? Don't try and act too smart.
