To be fair, Rios is ranked in the top 10 now but it's not a fight I'd get too excited about.

    Stylistically, I would've preferred Brook-Chaves and Rios-Provonikov, but that's jmo.

Arum wants Bradley fighting Ali in Dubai (or so he says).
I can't remember who, maybe it was Diggler the Wriggler, but someone was trying to convince me that this was Brook's big summer fight - yeah right.

Rios is a step up from his last 2 fights, but, agreed, nothing to get excited about.

Unfortunately with all these law suits flying around, us boxing fans can look forward to more and more poor match-ups with only the occasional barn-stormer fight that makes you get the tingles when the bell for the 1st round sounds.

I am in the camp of "just fuckin fight" and cut the crap. For example Froch can't keep Golovkin's name out of his mouth - just do it. Brook and Khan should get made, Thurman Porter would be great. At the moment all the matchmaking is too vertical and not horizontal enough. So you don't really get 2nd rank fighting 4th or 3rd ranked often enough. It is what it is but i think we are all fed up with name calling - just fight!!!

If the Rios fights falls out Brooks should seek a better opponent and not another bum

I think Team Rios are trying to back out of the fight.

I've heard the rematch clause rumour - that shouldn't even be a sticking point. If you're not the mandatory challenger, then there's always a rematch clause. His manager surely knows this.

          Brook is a *****.
Step up from fighting Frankie Gavin.

This right here is just a warm up to fighting another hopeless cannon fodder.

As the story goes, fight a bum and use Khan's name to hype it. "it's Khan's fault". Same ****, different toilet. Rinse and repeat.

I get the feel it'll end up being a "domestic dust up" against a 50-50 opponent, former Gavin victim, Bradley Skeete.

Rios better take this opportunity because he might not get many more title shots. Honestly don't give Rios much of a shot. Brook is a big welterweight and should outbox and probably stop Rios. It will be fun while it lasts.

Butthurt Khanturd alert. Bradley Skeete is promoted by Frank Warren so that fight wouldn't happen anyway.

                    Chris Van Heerden isn't.

I'm discussing the subject at hand, which is: Brook's fight with Rios. You inserting Khan is a deflection, ad hominem fallacy.

Haymon and Hearn have made a couple of fights together, I would be cool with Brook facing either, Thurman or Maidana if the deal with TR doesn't go through.
