I think he asks HBO for the GGG marketing and protection plan but he likely doesn't get it from HBO.

Why can't HBO just make ward/ggg and kov/adonis, the fights most fans prefer?

I don't think the Oakland thing comes into play, as i believe Kovalev would agree to fight Ward there.

I imagine Ward would want a catch-weight. Considering Ward isn't an 'A side' though, and has no pulling power. Kovalev should tell him simply 'no'.
