He hasn't fought on HBO because the Haymon ban. And HBO clearly makes exceptions when one of their darling A sides wants to fight someone from Haymon. They made an exception for their darling Ward when he wanted Rodriguez. They'll make an exception for their darling Kovalev for a Stevenson fight. They made an exception for their darling promoter Bob Arum when the Korobov-Quillin fight was supposed to land on HBO before Quillin ducked out. So it's completely reasonable to believe that HBO will make an exception for their darling Golovkin if Golovkin wants it.

Here's GGG chance to become a two weight class champion. Legacy!

Now does that make much sense? If Ward's ballsy enough to show up to Golovkin's next fight, why doesn't Ward just make an offer to be Golovkin's next fight? RN already lost over $2mill on Ward's last fight because no tv network wanted pay him to fight his can.

Al Haymon is paying money for his fighters to be on PBC networks. Do you think he has a say whether or not one of his fighters goes on another network?
Why do you think Quillin vacated his title? Quillin got paid to dump his belt and not fight, rather than fight on a rival promoter's show on a rival network.
