Exactly, Ike was a monster that actually had some skills for a big guy.

        1. Frazier/Ali I (although I wasn't happy with the result)
        2. Ali/Frazier III
        3. Foreman/Lyle
        4. Ali/Foreman
        5. Foreman/Moorer (Yes, it was one sided-but what a finish)

Totally agree I loved that fight.

Holyfield vs Foreman was another great fight.

Most of Tyson's fights are exemely entertaining to watch at least to my taste. The ones that end early are usually still enteraining, the brutality of his knockouts against overmatched opponents is horrible but there is still something so entertaining about his PERFORMANCES.

Even better are Mike Tyson CONTESTS such as against JAMES QUICK TILLIS, Razor Ruddock, Tony Tucker, Evander Holyfield I etc.

Off the topic but you can tell that Buster Douglas closely studied the game plan of James Quick Tillis whom I believe fought Tyson in only his 20th fight or so.

Quick Tillis gave Douglas the blueprint for Douglas' victory, whatever Tyson's condition was.

I wasn't jumping out of my chair like I was Bowe v.s. Holyfield.

              That's all I can say.
perhaps thats becasuse you already knew who won...

Rid**** Bowe was an exciting fighter. I never liked him at all when he was fighting or really respected him much. I mean I respect him in the sense that his in fact a great great boxer who reached the absolute pinicale of the sport. Only as a champion I really never gave him much thought among great champions.

But then, you look at the events he was involved in. The Holyfield trilogy, the Golota debacle. Rid**** Bowe may very well have been midiocre amongst true champions but he still holds very, very good company there. The mediocrity of his championship reign perhaps is what makes him stand out and what produced the great events that he was apart of.

yesterdays fight was also pretty good but offcourse not as good as thrilla in manilla or bowe-holyfield etc.

                  regards
The Tyson vs. Ruddock fights were insane! But I would say the best heavyweight fight I have ever see was Ali vs. Frazier III.

                      No it wasn't.

The 1st Bruno fight was when he started to see more of Tyson's bad habits, in the first fight with his new crappy corner. And the rematch was the closest Tyson looked after prison to being pre-prison, but still, he wasn't the same. No fighter is going to be inactive for 4 years and not able to train like a professional boxer and then be the same as before.

He could've and should've been better but he ate too damn much. He had the talent.

I still say he was unforunate to lose the title to Holyfield in the rematch. Holyfield was a tad lucky with the situation and the cards.
