Maidana because of his aggressive awkward style. He simply didn't give a **** and fought rough as hell. Pac couldn't even close the gap unless Floyd let him. Going in I thought Pac was going to give Floyd the fight of his life. I was wrong about that one.

The greatest thing about Maidana in comparison to #48 in relation to their fights with Floyd Mayweather is this; Maidana didn't build his name off swinging from Mayweather nuts or hiding behind his promoter who's also swinging from Floyd nuts, he built his name off his own hardwork and earned a fight against Mayweather as well as rematch by just letting his actions speak. #48 is just a big fat talker.. Saying he going to do this or that, but in the end he didn't do **** but made excuses and kept talking. Maidana didn't make none.. he just did what he had to do and what he was presented with.

Learn something new, apparently winning the same amount of rounds = the fight was equally as competitive

Pacquioao didn't even win 4 rounds, neither did Maidana for that matter but Maidana made things tough throughout.

If Floyd was "tapping" Pac then he should've been able to walk right through his shots right? instead he was hesitant and would jump back whenever Floyd feinted with his right because he was afraid to get tapped. Unlike Maidana who was willing to walk through the fire ... Also Maidana knows how to cut off a ring Pac still can't figure that out.
The funny thing is Maidana was used as the reference as to why Pacquiao would clearly beat and give Mayweather far more trouble. But in reality, Pacquiao not only lost, but Maidana did better than Pacquaio. The irony.

You got a source for that?

Boxing scoring is somewhat subjective and you're a huge Manny fan so I'm not surprised you have the opinion you do.

Also, everybody I know hated the fight and *****ed massively about Floyd not mixing it up more.

Even so, they all think he won.

Khan's leftovers (Maidana) put up a better fight. Imagine if Floyd hadn't ducked Khan, it might be game over Floyd - the evidence is quite compelling! Good point TS.

"put up a better fight" makes it sound like they were in with Tyson or something and valiantly got beat down.

In reality, Maidana and Pacquiao were never troubled physically and both believe they won their respective bouts.

Nah it just sounds like exactly what it says.

Which of the two put up a better losing effort to which the answer is obviously Maidana.

Maidana in the first fight obviously.
