Guerrero has done nothing of significance since 2012.

His only wins since have come in struggles against Kamegai and Martinez.

I think he's trying to build fighters and certain fights. If he just matches up all the best right away without marinating it, he won't have any big fights left.

Isn't that the Bob Arum approach that everybody criticizes?

That's really the approach of every promoter. They want to maximize their earning for potential mega fights. It sucks, but that's just the way it is

So it looks like Santa Cruz vs Mares is about set.

There goes another one for you haters.

The only one on that list is Garcia-Matthysse in 2013.
Yeah you replied, but didn't name any of these so called fights that he's refusing to make.

Garcia - Peterson was a ridiculous catchweight bout that was past it's due date.

                Robert Guerrero is garbage.

The first 2 weren't PBC fights.
All I see is b*tching and moaning from you emotional fanboys, yet you haven't listed any fights that Haymon has refused to make. I wonder why you guys can't name any?

Almost 40 posts and 4 pages, yet no one has mentioned these so called big fights that Haymon is refusing to make....

Why is that no one can name any?

Expected to be a lock by hateful fans you mean.. Haymon and crew expected the fight to be sellable on PPV until the racially bias fans figured Broner was getting an easy fight by Maidana because he's been beaten before. Haymon was pushing hard in 2013... but you idiots started crapping on meaningful fights and putting all this trust in a coked up Oscar, so he pretty much just scrapped 2014 prepping for PBC 2015 and in my opinion for the first 6 months, he did better than all the other brands of boxing put together besides the PPV showcases, which he is pretty much apart of as well.

I'd like to see a list of all of HBO's fights this year so far and a list of PBC's the majority of this years fights that were worth talking about and actually meant something weren't on HBO... People get so emotional about the ****, how could free boxing primetime on network tv be a bad thing?... Even the Saturday afternoon fights are a refreshing change of pace. I couldn't picture any other sport where people would complain if they got more of it and IMO better quality and fairer officiating/results... But hey this is NSB. Haymon's got a stable of about 200 if it weren't for PBC and the networks that do business a huge chunk of those guys don't get televised dates ... It's a zero sum game.
