"Haymon doesn't pit his best fighters against each other on PBC"

Why do I keep hearing this?

Every time someone mentions this, I ask them to name the absolute best fights that can happen between two Haymon fighters and they tend to freeze up.

So here is your chance to name those fights that Haymon is refusing to make between his guys. Go ahead, I'll be waiting.

He hasn't put his best fighters in with each other. This goes before PBC

Garcia - Matthysse (not PBC but two Haymon fights)

Broner - Maidana (not PBC but two Haymon fights)

      Broner - Porter

      Garcia - Peterson

      Guerrero - Thurman

Santa Cruz - Mares (about to be finalized)

I could name a lot more if you'd like. Yet you've given NO EXAMPLES at all. I wonder why?

I think the only one you could make out would be Santa Cruz vs that white guy from overseas that he recently signed. And LSC is garbage so I don't blame him for not wanting to make that.

          Stevenson - Beterbiev

          Jacobs - Quillin

Just two that come immediately to mind.

You do realize all those fights except one happened within the last couple months.

People aren't saying that anymore. He's done a better job in the last couple months. He deserves credit for that.

People were saying that about a year ago, and prior to.

Duh, PBC was literally just made this year. There's a reason he didn't make that many great fights while working with Golden Boy Promotions. He was saving the actual good fights for his PBC entity (with an exception for Garcia-Matthysse, but still made between two Haymon guys). This is literally common knowledge.

Who is Stevenson fighting next? Wouldn't surprise me if it's Beterbiev.

And Jacobs vs Quillin, if you ask me that's a joke of a fight. Both guys are pretty garbage.

Watch PBC make either Guerrero vs Spence or Guerrero vs Broner next. Both EXCELLENT fights.

I won't be surprised if GR JR is matched hard as well.
