No offense to any long time Froch fan, but I'm really finding it difficult to believe what Carl has to say about a fight with GGG. Of course I can't really blame Carl; it's difficult stepping into the unknown, and that's exactly what Carl would be doing if he signed to fight GGG. That plus the ignominy of being stopped or knocked cold for the first time in his career. But as the talking goes back and forth, I believe GGG and his people rather than Carl because Carl has demonstrated that for over a year now he is no longer fighting - just talking and talking and talking.

... Froch would rather fight DeGale -- easier fight, much more interesting for the home public... (The Brits would not have paid to watch Golovkin hammering Carl... no brainer.)

You really need to get over that Ward ****. The fight ain't happening. Ward doesn't want it, GGG doesn't want it.

I don't care what either man says, GGG doesn't want to move up to 168 to be held, clinched, and head butt all night long.

And Ward doesn't want to be KTFO by a middle weight.

DeGale in 1 fight got a better win and bigger payday than Golovkin ever has.

I can name four available fighters around GGG weight class that are willing to fight him. Ward, Lara, Ramirez, Tuerano Johnson

Froch really didn't have to make **** up. He doesn't have to fight anyone.

Tureano will be fighting O'Kane for a shot at Lemieux. Lara can't fight on HBO. Ramirez is a prospect and Ward wants another tune up.

I wouldn't mind Gilberto. Is he worth moving up? Not really.

Odds are we get Hieland while GGG waits to collect his WBC title.

Loeffler and GGG. There was no catchweight requested for the Chavez Jr. fight and they have never so much as mentioned a catchweight for Froch and in fact have stated on multiple occasions that Golovkin considered it a matter of respect. Something that Froch seems to have no concept of. He should just be honest with himself and his fans and retire but he will probably sit on the sidelines for two years because he likes seeing his name in the media. That's pretty sad when you think of it.

Also Eddie Hearn confirmed that there was no CW.
