I don't believe Maidana solved any "Problem" or gave any blueprint to beat Broner. Fact is he's not that good overall. He just has a few strengths that the casual fan likes.

In the end, there are probably several ways a fighter could beat Broner. Maidana's crazy aggressiveness is just one way. A come forward boxing approach like Porter used also worked. A pure boxer like Amir Khan or Devon Alexander would probably beat him too

The truth is that Broner is the one with the problem. Unless he sorts his head out he is going nowhere.

If I was his manager I would be looking for a good sports psychologist. Broner obviously has some mental and emotional issues in his life. He needs someone who can help him deal with them and move on. Or at least, teach him how to live with whatever head problems he has without allowing them to affect his training and performance in the ring.

Quintero and Ponce de Leon solved this problem way before Maidana. And Broner hadn't recently jumped two weight classes when he fought them.

Broner NEVER controlled the fight. You should be ashamed

I agree. Broner, in reality, is just a decent fighter with some talent, not Great talent. He made a mistake of jumping up two weight classes and got mauled or dogged out by bigger fighters. He is similar to Devon Alexander, where they're both decent boxers, but are vulnerable to pressure. They can be out-hustled, out-worked, out-fought.
