No it's not. The only reason why Floyd was able to dictate the pace against Canelo, was because he drained the kid, PERIOD. Floyd was as big as Canelo in the ring. Canelo knew how to fight Floyd but he didn't want to tire due to being drained. He didn't have the energy to fight the pressure fight he wanted. Canelo won his WBC light middleweight title at 150 pounds against another welterweight in Matthew Hatton. He was the one to offer the catchweight. Don't blame Floyd for accepting Canelo's offer and then beating him handily. Besides, 2 pounds isn't much to go down and Canelo's handlers even said after the fight that Canelo was fit for the fight.

Therrs no denying what Cotto has accomplished in the sport. As far as currently, i dont rate Cotto as high as others do bcuz honestly he couldve fought better comp. I rate Canelo higher for that very reason, hes recently been facing the overall bettr comp and that will show in this fight. Im not predicting a Canelo KO but thats not far fetched, but i am predicting a Canrlo victory.

Canelo has plenty of experience, trout, lara and mayweather.


Whatever advantage Cotto gets from having more experience is more than offset by his age and battles hes been in. Cottos performance at 154 and above (whatever gay catchweight hes fighting at these days) has been ****. He happened to catch ancient Sergio with a busted ass knee. There are atleast a dozen other fighters in the 154-160 range who would have also beat Sergio that night.

After Martinez, Cotto's best win at 154 and above is what? Theyre all ****.
