McCrory is exactly right. First Pac said he won then after that he came out with the shoulder injury excuse. He was all over the place.
The fact of the matter is that Floyd shut down anything he tried to do and made him pay with hard counterpunches any time Pac attempted to come inside. It was a master class performance.
no its the other way around idiot, just watch the fight in detail with sound off you can see many of this:
I always say Pacquiaos been done since Margarita 2010. That was truly his last GREAT performance to his superstardom. Freaked 5 years ago LOL.
Mosley fight was the start of his sluggish performances, Marquez, Bradley, Marquez.
The only fight that he recently looked like the Pacquiao of old was the 2012 fight vs Marquez But he got knocked down, then KNOCKED OUT ...
If only Pac would have fought him that March 2010, it would have been a more exciting fight. Would he have won? Who knows... but he would have went all out with no getting KOd in his mind
I thought Pacquiao looked fine on fight night, it was a very tactical fight, but Pacquiao looked like Pacquiao, he just wasn't good enough to win more than 2 or 3 rounds. It was probably Pacquiao's best defensive performance of his career, maybe his best pure boxing performance. Mayweather dictated the whole fight and Pacquiao did as good as he could.
You raise a good point.
Maybe Roach trained Pacquiao to box with Mayweather because Roach knew that Manny's wildman style might have gotten him countered like in the Marquez fight. Maybe that's why Pac was so cautious and studious with punch output (which was his unfortunate downfall).
If that theory is true then it makes both of them look ******, since Maidana's wild style was the closest anyone ever got to giving Mayweather problems.
