Who the **** is Carl Matthews? Apollo Creed was played by Carl WEATHERS and he did not have a son in the first Rocky movie, or any other Rocky movie for that matter. And for some strange reason, I have no interest in a movie where the main character is a boxer named ADONIS.

Yeah he did. They showed them and his wife in part 2. She even told him to go play with the kids and quit reading that hate mail he was getting.

But apparently this Adonis Creed guy is going to be from an extramarital affair.

This does not look like a great movie to me.

On par with Rocky 5.

Also, just from observation the guy 'Adonis' does not look like a trained boxer (correct me if he IS).

Half the time that is the problem with Boxing movies - the actors look like crap when they try to box.

The other half, the actors are usually crap at both - acting AND boxing.

Good to see they rolled with my idea, I posted this idea about Creed on this very forum about 4 or 5 years ago. They obviously saw the post and decided to roll with it so now it's finally come to fruition.

Trailer looks great, almost but not quite epic. I better be somewhere in the closing credits though muthaphuckas or there'll be hell to pay.

Creed wasn't Rocky's first opponent in the movie series. He was fighting some bum and got paid something like $15 after locker and gym fees.

Several title shots and now a role in a featured film. Gabriel Rosado sure has gotten a lot of mileage out of looking good against Jesus Soto Karass that one time.

Ward's in it, but just like in real life he's not a fighter. His role in the movie is as a commentator.
