What does having more street cred do with anything? Guy is just mad that what Floyd Sr said about his fighter is true. I feel Broner needs a more stern trainer, or change this "nobody can tell me anything" attitude. He acts like he is already up top but he clearly isn't. If getting whooped by Maidana and losing to Porter didn't humble him, who knows what will.

this is coming from a trainer that told his fight "broner" that you are fighting the wrong fight. and that was said around round 9.

You caught that too??? I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. Stafford sucks as a trainer. He didn't know what to say in the Maidana fight either.

Broner has to stay with Stafford

Broner needs Stafford so he never develops and continues to lose. Broner losing is great for boxing and Great for America.

Mike vs Floyd Sr. ................not even close, Mike is far superior to Senior when it comes to training a young fighter! He's proven his value at the Olympic Training Center and in the neighborhoods where he's most needed.
Boxing trainers roam the area's that Senior hasn't been to unless its to cop some drugs!
The problem with Broner and Mike is they have become "Father & Son" and Son is not giving Dad proper respect. Bottom line this is 90% Broner fault and 10% to Mike for not bringing in an advisor that can inspire Broner and have a
"new" voice to hear!
Broner is trying to be Mayweather with hundreds of thousands instead of hunderds of millions. He fought like a punk against Porter but showed heart & guts against Madiana. Go figure, the kid hasn't grown up yet!

It wasn't his trainer's fault he lost. Stafford was BEGGING him to throw more punches. Broner is just a flawed fighter.

I think Stafford did quite well with Broner. He built him up from scratch and made him a 3 division champ. The problem is that the success went to Broner's head and he stopped listening to his trainer. When you have the fighter telling his trainer to shut up between rounds, you can't blame the trainer.

Stafford's only fault is not getting Broner's ego and arrogance under control. You'd think the Maidana beating would have humbled him, but obviously it didn't.

Didn't even Know Broner had a trainer.

never knew Broner even had a trainer except his blimp helium filled Daddy. Broner has never been trained well and just grabs and holds the whole fight. Can't imagine Broner listening to anyone in training. Stafford drives a cab in Cincinnati and delivers pizza's at night. Broner needs a professional trainer outside of Cincy.

nah Pump, this thread title is misleading!!...Coach ain't shred Floyd Sr at all!!...he just tried to block the shots Sr. threw at him...he didn't counter Sr. who is wide open for counters because he usually open his mouth and say the dumbest sh't possible
