Mike Stafford, trainer for former three division world champion Adrien Broner, fired back at the critical comments that were made about his fighter. The comments came from Floyd Mayweather Sr., father and trainer of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Broner and Mayweather Jr. are very close friends, but that didn't stop Floyd Sr. from taking a few shots at Adrien over his performance in the twelve round decision loss to Shawn Porter on June 20 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Mayweather Sr told the truth and you can't hate him for that. He's not gonna sing praises when someone ain't performing and after all he's not training Broner. No doubt he would improve Broner but broner needs to be told the truth. His defence is atrocious and when he gets inside he has no game. He needs to improve or go back to small weights where he can rely on power because he has no skill.
