Leo Santa Cruz vs. Abner Mares on ESPN 8/29 or CBS 9/6

PBC has two events scheduled. An ESPN card August 29 and a CBS card September 6.

I'm thinking it will most likely be on CBS, similar to how they're doing the upcoming Chavez Jr fight. But we'll see in a couple of days. And to promote the Mayweather fight a week later.

I love this fight. I have come to like Mares over time, mainly due to his attitude towards the sport as of late, but I will be rooting for Leo. Leo is a great guy, very good heart and he's a warrior inside a the ring (even though too monotone at times).
