I recall a thread where people discussed top 10 p4p lists and I don't recall many of y'all putting Alvarez > GGG then...
If P4P lists were judged only by resumes Golovkin wouldn't be on anyones list. (I don't think he should be anyway)

This obsession with Canelo fighting GGG is hilarious.

1)Canelo has a better resume than GGG because all the good fighters want to fight him. Lara wants to fight GGG too, but keep him away from GGG.
      2) Lara is not a middleweight so he'll do nothing for GGG. Canelo fought Lara at 155, so Canelo is a middleweight
      3) Canelo's Lara win is disputed, but Canelo vs GGG doe.

Unless you think that one doesn't count due to the catchweight, if Canelo was drained?
I don't believe beating a semi-retired Froch is an impressive victory nor do I think a middleweight champion facing a welterweight is impressive either. Mayweather beat Jr Middleweight Champion Canelo at a 152 pound catchweight. No such thing as a weight drained 23 yr old especially when you factor in that Canelo weighed in at 153 against Trout five months earlier.

Had GGG fought Froch after the Groves fight, I would give him more credit.

Uh whatever. When is the last time he made 154? And why is he fighting for the lineal MW belt then?

Don't hav to be in the division to get a title shot, i.e. Pacquiao vs Bradley 1 and Pacquiao vs Algieri.

You really need to be told the difference between Canelo and Lara? Why don't you make a Lara Floyd comparison, those are increasingly popular lol

BTW what's your opinion on the outcome of GGG vs Lara? What do you suppose the odds would be?

                Awesome sig btw

Canelo and it's not that close. Trout, Mayweather (even though he lost), Angulo, Lara, and Kirkland all in succession are all very good fights

Well too bad Froch was saying "we'll swerve him if we can, punches like a mule, dangerous fight" in the buildup to Groves

You realize Floyd is the REIGNING, LINEAL, UNIFIED, 2x SWW champ? That he's been holding SWW belt for 3 years +? Sounds like a great scalp at SWW, unless he's the most disgraceful paper champ ever
