yeah, Chris had an iron chin but never seemed to take a bodyshot too well.

jones would have beating anyone 190 n under before he fought tarver
before his heavyweight shot
eubank woul have given jones a good fight but
like he said himself would have lsot the fight
it would have been similar to maywether castillo 2Comment

I dont see how Jones jr. was similar to Mayweather and certainly dont see how Eubank was similar to Castillo?Originally posted by boxer2k5jones would have beating anyone 190 n under before he fought tarver

i wasnt compareing them to a T
i was stating how the fight would turn out
like a clsoe fight with roy on top
roy pot shotting while eubank tried to get close
wore the body but get nothing clean
not saying eubank fought liek castillo or roy like floydComment

He would actually step into a shot or even leap into a shot then spring his upper body away again which would make them miss and open to a counter, he was a master of that and it was a tactic all of his own. The shot he was stepping or even leaping into was nothing more than a tap, but it was used as bait. Damn, that guy was good. Shame he only ever did just enough to win post-Watson though and rarely won all or sometimes even any of the last four or five rounds of his fights because he was often just turning his back and running in the latter rounds (feeling he'd already won atleast six rounds).Originally posted by Pugilistic_PolarbearEubank had the best reflexes of any boxer Ive ever seen,he could reach and stretch for a punch from such long distance and the moment the punch landed he was swaying out of range again.Comment

wudnt it be more like eubank tryin to potshot while rjj tried to get close ? cos rjj never hesitated much at tryin to get in position to throw some fast power combos in his middle & super middle days- he was a powerhouse, an animal back then !Originally posted by boxer2k5i wasnt compareing them to a T

Yeah but it was so difficult to hit his body because his elbows were in the way and you risked being caught or countered trying to get that close and low.Originally posted by The_One77yeah, Chris had an iron chin but never seemed to take a bodyshot too well.Comment
