ward has had plenty of time and opportunity to refute, and any boxing reporter is free to phone up someone at hbo and verify. the claim is out there, now let's see if anyone can falsify it

oK, so when GGG and his team have similar actions to fighters who have been labeled a certain way, you can't be surprised when GGG is labeled the same.

Sadly, NSB has allowed the most ******ed fans of Manny/wlad/Kov/GGG to set the standards here. That's why we are at where we are now.

I like the earlier analysis, self closing circle
Tbe best fight is to move up
ward best fight is to move up
ggg best fight is too move up
Who will dare to be great

if you ignore the posts of people with handles like PAC-BOY, GOLOVKIN and PRBOXINGCOTTO then you'll generally have a far more fruitful time on this site

It should bug you everytime a fan uses a ridiculous term, not just when its a guy you are a fan of.
The difference is mayweather is a multiple belt holder at 154 so he would not have to move weight classes at all. Ggg would be the one moving down. He said he would only move down for mayweather and for obvious reasons, its everybody's dream to beat the number 1 pound for pound and get that big payday

Like I said to the other guy, HBO are not going to throw their Golden Boy under the bus. We all saw what his manager said to the media. Hell we all saw what GGG said to the media when asked about a Ward fight - "Andre is too much for me, right now my focus 160. Maybe in future"

Ward tells them to stop lying to the fans and Golovkin suddenly gets butthurt and changes his tune "I said yes, you said no"

                  Damage control.

You can't though. The ****** tend to be very loud and also prominent. They set the parameters for most of the debates.

Hopefully, if you and others call them out when they do, we can start to have more meaningful debates rather than petty arguments over ducking.

Dude, Floyd is a 147lber who was good enough to win multiple bouts at 154. He is no more a JMW than Roy Jones was a HWT.

That isn't what GGG said-he said he'd fight anyone from 154-168 and that his dream fight was Floyd @ 154.

There is no difference in actions. The difference is GGG fans willingness to give him a pass.
