That's what I hate about the Pat Russell incident.

Well, did it happen though? Better than being smacked around for 12. Bradley had slurred speech for 2 months after Provodnikov and I don't think Algieri suffered that fate, so it is understandable you'll get roughed up in there against him. Not to mention Algieri turned to boxing in his 20s and fought and won a belt, so quick for someone so late.

Khan didn't look as good, but may be Algieri is that good.

Algieri is average at best if some what awkward , Khan is overrated ...period ! Good fighters at heir own weight don't get decked six times in one fight and lose EVERY round ..so NO Algieri is NOT that good and the struggle that Khan had with him should tell you something !...Khan made his statement he's crap !

Algeri is better than many give credit for. He defeated Provodnikov where he was a heavy underdog, he got knocked down 3 times sure...but it showed how much heart and determination he had. Although he got destroyed by Pacquiao, there's nothing wrong with getting utterly dominated by the #2 P4P fighter in the world. Algeri just had a wrong "second" in his corner. Him changing his style to infighter was quite clever and gave Khan lots of problems. He's actually a decent fighter and his stock is definitely rising.
