He clearly was not "out of the woods". The referee saved him from the woods.

Not one single person thought Vargas had a "shot in hell" of hurting Bradley.

I understand his frustration but he is making too much out of his only moment of success in the whole fight.
**** on! About as straight as you can say it.

Sure he was. He had already clinched and was starting to throw back at Vargas. Vargas showed nothing to suggest he was about to finish Bradley off. And if he started to, another clinch and it's over.

It's unfortunate that he wasn't given the chance to prove my point, but he needs to hold himself accountable for the other 99% of the fight where he got his ass beat.

... Was the 'saved by the bell' rule in force in this fight? Aren't you joking?

I thought it was more competitive than it should have been and Vargas is absolutely terrible. Bradley never impresses me.

Damn skippy. Vargas got handled the entire rest of the fight minus one nice punch.

Yet it takes a guy of Pac's caliber to beat him and a robbery to take a clear win to a draw. You might not like him but he seems to be able to beat almost everybody.

Seems as though the machismo in some fighters has been replaced with excuses.

Chavez Jr vs Martinez: Did nothing for the entirety of the fight but clung to the miraculous punch he landed in the 12th round, as if he showed he belonged for that punch alone.

Ortiz vs Mayweather: Delibrately headbutted his opponent after getting outclassed. Clings to the fact that he was knocked out after hugging Mayweather; for whatever reason, he feels that it entitles him to a rematch.

Margarito vs Cotto II: Got surgically dismantled for the duration of the fight, but feels a rematch is required because the referee waved the match off. Somehow, people expect others to buy the story that he was coming on strong and that it was only a matter of time until he broke Cotto down.

Must be the chavez jr fans up in here "He won the fight cuz he rocked him and had him hurt" never mind he got fked up for 35 out 36 minutes of the fight. Vargas lost fair and square, he doesn't have the technique or hand speed to have finished that off in 8 seconds, hell double that and he might have had a slim margin of hope but 8 seconds? C'mon..not a chance in hell.

Bradley has been out on his feet TWICE, and both by 2 Jr. WW fighters in their first fight @ WW. He would not beat Mayweather, Maidana, Thurman, Porter, and probably wouldn't beat Khan either. Bradley's a nice guy, and should have a future as a commentator on HBO. Warning to Bradley, do NOT give Ruslan Provodnikov a rematch EVER!
