Except that Khan brings a **** fight, especially after that trash performance against Algieri.

Two months of ESPN trashing the fight as a cherry pick and no reason for the non-boxing press to pay the fight any attention (forget even talk about the fight moving beyond sports), and you're likely looking at an event that maybe does 1m PPV buys solely off of the fact that it's Mayweather's last fight.

With Sky Sports already committed to running a Matchroom show on Sky Box Office (in London with far more meaningful fights to the UK fans, at an actually reasonable time), you can't even hang the hat on Khan bringing a heaping of UK money along with him.

And in UK Khan is household name , so he brings UK vs US thing not Brook, casual fans don't who who Brook is.

Brook has only one advantage over khan he has belt but its funny look at his last opponent he is a BUM too LOL, and because of this Mayweather would not fight Brook.

And It's only Amir khan who can bring excitement because of his style that Brook and thurman cant bring.
Brook brings Sky Sports and, most importantly, Sky Box Office with him; say what you want about Khan's pull with the casual fan (Khan's name is solely known to the casual fan because he was featured on terrestrial TV for his run to the silver medal at the Olympics), Sky Sports took a questionable result following Froch-Groves, put their marketing machine behind the effort, and ended up with a fight that put 80,000 people into Wembley, while also doing the equivalent of $30m on Sky Box Office.

Give Sky Sports two months, and Brook crushes anything that Khan could've even imagined doing for the fight (Khan being stuck on BoxNation, solely pushing a fight that he brings nothing to that is due to air at 3am in the UK, makes things pretty clear).

Honestly not sure why you're blowing Khan so hard.

Khan thinks he's Mayweather now. Here's a couple of things he's said recently:

"The great thing about Amir Khan is that he makes his own decisions, he's his own boss..."

        "A belt don't make me"

"Like I said before, Kell Brook is not on my level"

        Sound familiar?

Khans got the Floyd fans shook.

Why do they want Brook so bad when he's done so little ?

Khan is obviously the bigger name in America (than Brook).

But I'm thinking the angle for the Brook fight would be that it was for the undisputed title which wouldn't make that much of a difference in sales since Khan didn't exactly do himself any favours with his last terrible performance either.

They could also remind people that this was the guy who beat Porter who beat "Lil Bro"

Yeah unlike Khan who's taken the welterweight division by storm

does anyone here live in the US? Absolutely no one knows brook. Khan is 100x more popular than brook. Mayweather has not mentioned brook once, and people do not even ask him questions about a brook fight. Sorry to burst your bubble but the second cotto said he will fight alvarez next, the mayweather-khan fight was a done deal. Mayweather was about to fight khan after his bad performance with diaz so i doubt his performance against algeri will change anything.

                    I agree.

I don't think there is a big ppv difference between Floyd/Khan and Floyd/Brook

He is. It's embarrassing how much he wants to be Floyd.

There would be a difference. But as Eddie Hearn said, Khan would also cost more and probably be harder to deal with because he's a girly diva.

He said he thinks Mayweather needs to prove himself by fighting him
