Comments Thread For: Bradley: Pacquiao Has To Deal With Mayweather Loss

Former two division world champion Timothy Bradley is still not on board with Manny Pacquiao's injury excuse for last month's twelve round decision loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao said he injured his right shoulder a few weeks before the fight and made a decision to move forward. He further injured himself during the fourth round and had shoulder surgery a week later.

Bradley, who fought Pacquiao twice and suffered leg injuries during both matches, says the Filipino superstar has to deal with his decision to go forward with the bout and the consequences that followed.

The world was watching that fight and for years it was supposed to be manny the innocent good guy to defeat the arrogant bad guy Floyd.

But it was the complete opposite....Floyd was thinking everybody and praising God while manny did not say his lords name not once in the post fight interview and started making excuses.

I must say I was shocked by manny behavior after the fight and think he took the loss hard.

This whining coming from the guy who got probably the biggest gift decision ever in boxing with pac/Bradley I. Yes, for the umpteenth time, Pac should've postponed the fight. But also, NSAC were a bunch of azzholez for not allowing him the shot. Geez, now let's drop this issue and concern ourselves with June 27 2015 onward.

Once Floyd beats Pac in the rematch the first fight injury will be forgotten about.

B.S.! Manny did work in rounds 5-8. He had Bradley in trouble a few times. Rounds 1-2 and 9-12 were either close or clear Bradley rounds.

3 judges had it close, as did I. It wasn't the one-sided affair everyone seems to believe it was.

Timmy, I'm a big fan but you are not the one to say this to anyone. Remember how you reacted to the Pacquiao "win?"

Why were they a bunch of *******s?

In Bob Arum's own words, Pacquiao's shoulder was fine going into the fight. The alleged injury occurred in the fourth round. Should the commission allow someone to take a serious painkiller when their is no injury documented or otherwise? The answer is no.

At the end of the day the commission was just doing their job and their job is not to give Pacquiao a free pass.

Using this logic Manny has to have a third rematch with Bradley because Bradley was injured in both of their fights. And Manny is still 1-1 against Bradley.
