Let anyone marry. I hate when these fundamentalist Christian people talk about the sanctity of marriage and that gay marriage will ruin marriage. How the F&$& will some gay marriage ruin some other persons marriage who's not gay. It's crazy logic. Let all people have the same rights as everyone. Two gay people want to get married, go for it.

I agree with you for the most part, but MARRIAGE is a religious concept and I believe that the various religions should be able to make their own decisions as to who they wish to marry or not.

In my world, where I have no belief in gods or supreme beings or invisible all powerful en****** of indeterminate gender or species, all that matters is legal status. I believe that any two consenting adults should be allowed to enter into a legally binding contract which makes them equal partners in life with all the benefits, advantages and disadvantages as traditionally 'married' couples.

Not all hetero couples are interested in getting married in a church or other religious institution either and many today are not, choosing instead to be joined at city hall or by some other legal means.

You are on point. America is a joke to me though. Marriage is no longer sacred, it will only be a matter of time before gays will start going thru divorce in record numbers and realize its not even worth it and its just a money grab. I see women cheating all the time and blaming it on the man, and she gets half of his money for emotional abuse, i wonder how it works in the case of gays, both are the same sex, who will the judge favor, its going to get real nasty.
