I agree that GGG wouldn't have enough in the tank @154 to chase Floyd around the ring like he'd need to.

The match-up doesn't really enhance Floyd's resume if it occurs @154. Floyd might as well face Lara then, who's actually done something at LMW.

Against Floyd clearly Canelo's style was atrocious as Floyd won every minute of the fight. You wouldn't want GGG to be anything like Canelo. Someone who can cut of the ring and apply relentless & intelligent pressure is what you would want. Just speaking of the styles that would be much more in GGG's favor than Canelo.
GGG would actually be a much easier target for Floyd to land clean on than Canelo was. Floyd even said Canelo was more crafty than he anticipated. I think Floyd just has to avoid GGG's power, which may prove to be a daunting task for 12 rounds, and he can beat him.

I don't believe it would matter at all if Golovkin was easy to hit for Floyd. What is Floyd going to do, stand in the pocket and load up on power shots? Of course not. He'd be forced to pot shot and would be forced to use his legs more so than any other opponent has done to Floyd in recent memory. Floyd would have to try to keep off a relentless bigger opponent which is no easy task. We're not talking about 147 pound Robert Guerrero here, we're talking about Golovkin who is accustomed to fighting middleweights. There isn't much Floyd could do here other than be on his bike. He doesn't have the power to keep him off, he's physically smaller than Golovkin and wouldn't be able to simply clinch him every time he gets close like he did against Pacquiao. Think about how difficult it was for Floyd against Maidana, who is really more of JWW, and how physical Maidana was with Floyd, then realize Golovkin is much bigger than Maidana and the superior fighter.

It's not a fair fight and that's not because Floyd simply isn't good enough or anything like that, it's just biting off more than he could chew. At some point you'll hit a wall in how far you can move up and considering the talent and style of that opponent. That's the cutoff for Floyd, 154 against a true middleweight like GGG. Floyd could probably beat the rest of 154 though, I'm sure, but it's asking too much to expect him to be able to fight and beat a guy like Golovkin. He's proved everything there is to prove.

GGG can make 154 healthy, he rehydrates to 170 not overly ripped, prolly walks around at like 180, wouldn't be too hard. He'd struggle to make 152 though.

GGG would walk through Floyd, his chin is granite and he's excellent at cutting off the ring.

GGG fights nothing like Nelo. Furthermore, he will not try to outbox Floyd whatsoever. That being said you are totally correct that he will be drained to the gills. When was the last time he actually weighed 154 pounds. He was 165 in the freaking Olympics.

the goal post always get moved when it comes to Floyd

Pre Nelo: "Forget Pac, Floyd is ducking the young strong power puncher...Nelo even offered to come down to 152...Floyd is getting KO'd baby"
Post Nelo: "Nelo was drained doe....I bet he won't fight Pac"

Pre Pac: "Pac is not like Nelo or anyone Floyd has faced...the speed, the power, the angles, the footwork, the southpaw stance, the straight left, the right hook...Floyd is getting KTFO baby, his 0 will go"
Post Pac: "Pac had one arm and if you watch in slow mo with no sound you can see Pac CLEARLY won the fight....Floyd was running doe...Floyd was on saline doe....Floyd got a hometown decision...the fight was closer than the 3 people with the best seats in the building scored it....Floyd was hugging doe...I bet he won't fight GGG at 154 because GGG will take his head off"

Pre GGG: "Floyd is scared, GGG can make 154 and ice Floyd...he has power and he's skilled at cutting the ring off....Floyd gonna get iced baby"
Post GGG: "GGG was drained doe...Floyd was running doe....Floyd is a coward for not coming up to 160 where GGG would've been a full strength...I bet he won't fight Krusher now...Krusher can make 165 if Floyd man up and take the challenge...Krusher ices Floyd in 2 rounds"

Floyd just can't win over his haters....the hate is REAL and DEEP for whatever reason

I disagree. GGG would not try to outbox Mayweather in the middle of the ring like Canelo tried to do
