That should be the main focus, rather than Canelo supposedly having a bit faster hands and straighter punches?
But if you drain GGG than he is not much more of a threat to Floyd, as he wont have the gas to chase Floyd around the ring.
SSM has a really good chin.... And at 160, like you said, GGG is a beast. But at 154, GGG's power is not going to be there. At 154, is he going to be stronger than Canelo?

At 154, please tell me GGG is going to be stronger than Canelo who is comfortable at his weight. At 154, GGG will NOT be comfortable. He WILL be drained.

GGG has never fought below 160 since 2006. I don't know what he fought at in the amatuers, but for the last 9 years, he has been fighting at 160, and has never gone down. He WILL be drained.

I don't think ggg would go into that fight like idiot canelo with Oscars garbage blue print. I think ggg would fight all out like maidana in the first fight

But don't compare him to Alvarez. He fights nothing like Alvarez and is much, much more dangerous to Mayweather. "He just moves forward?" Yeah, while cutting off the ring as well as anyone in the sport, using a hammering jab, and having steel in his fists. He'd move forward right through everything Mayweather throws and beat his ass.
GGG likes to say this is his "dream " fight. Has anyone ever asked him if he is drained in his dream?

            Like I've said:

At 160, GGG is a beast.

At 154, he will be dead. He won't have much of his power, or any stamina.

I NEVER said that they're the same. I said that at 154, GGG will be drained. He won't have his stamina or power. He won't be able to circle that much.

And at 154, Mayweather will beat GGG like he beat Canelo, with ease and with the same style.

... "Easy work", then... What's the problem?

Well, Canelo didn't hit that hard in the first place, not much harder than Floyd. Drained Canelo probably didn't hit as hard as Floyd. GGG hits harder than canelo by far. So you drain GGG he will probably still hit harder than Canelo when Canelo is hitting his hardest.

Plus Canelo already had stamina issues before being drained. So potentially GGG would put up a better effort than canelo.

I think floyd wins easily but these are two different styles. Canelo is a boxer puncher, ggg is more of a pressure fighter who is far superior at cutting off the ring

                      Drained by 2 lbs?

Canelo started fighting pro in 2005 at 140 lbs.

GGG started fighting pro in 2006 at 160 lbs.

GGG is not going to have much of his power at 154. Who knows how much power he'll have at 154. Nobody can say for sure. But if you look at their history, you can see that at 154 GGG will be very drained. Much more drained than Canelo was after losing 2 lbs.
